4 Paws Marathon (10km), Bottle Lake Forest Park

The 4 Paws Marathon is an annual event held in Christchurch in September. It's a terrific event - running with hundred of other doggies.

The event is very well organised. There are a number of sponsors stalls at the start/finish line providing all sorts of dog-related things to check out.

The track is very good - clearly marked and there's water/snack stop half way around.

There are a variety of distances to suit everyone: full marathon (42.2km), half marathon (21.1km), 15km, 10km, 5km and 2.4km (for the kids).
