A beautiful, easy walk in a beautiful part of the country.

Starting at the west end of Cemetery Road in Hawea, the track is a well formed and well maintained path following the Hawea River to where it joins the Clutha River at Albertown.

A stunning day, calm, sunny, yet not too hot. The river is beautiful and so picturesque! Luna had an absolute blast as from time to time she spotted the occasional rabbit and had a good chase - no rabbits caught - phew.

Ending in Albertown, we made out way to the local watering hole for a well deserved refreshment.

This was a one-way walk for us - we called a taxi to take us back to Hawea (and he didn't mind Luna sitting on our laps in the taxi).
