Stunning white sand beaches are common around Dunedin and this is a spectacular one. An easy walk which can take some time because the dog wants to go swimming.
From the car park, follow the edge of the estuary (plenty of ball throws into the water required) and you'll find an outstanding, long beach with Green Island right in front of you.
This is a dog heaven with plenty of sand dunes to play in and miles of open space.
