Matakauri Park Loop, Wetlands Walkway

A lovely little walk around a very pretty wetland in the gorge towards Arthur’s Point. 

A boardwalk runs through part of the wetlands which is great fun. A good easy path runs around the rest of the area. 

Currently the walk is zoned as off lead (June 2020) but the council is considering making it on lead.

This is an excellent quick walk, or take your time and take some photos (as we did).
