Oruatua Walk

This walk is a little gem on the southern side of Lake Taupo between Motutere and Motuoapa—an easy walk to stretch both your and your furry friend's legs.

You can start your walk at the end of Kapua St, or turn right and drive down the rough path toward the lake.

The inland path is flat and well-formed, followed by a few hundred meters of lakeside gravel. We did have to double back a short distance due to a fallen tree blocking the lake side - not an issue.
