Porirua City to Cambourne Walkway

The weather today was nice and warm but not too hot. A good day for a walk from the city to the beginning of the Camborne Walkway (https://doggies.nz/walks/camborne-walkway).

It's a pretty easy walk - down the side of the motorway for a short while but the traffic is not too distracting. It veers away from the motorway soon and heads around the inlets below Aotea. Through Aotea Lagoon and over to Papakowhai Reserve which is an off-leash dog area. I did go via a 'shortcut' into some mud - best if you head back out the entrance to the reserve.

Past Paremata Primary School and over the Mana bridge to carpark for a coffee and some stick fetching.
