I would class this as in between Easy and Moderate. The hill is what makes it moderate.
This track is one of many that the Friends of Tawa Bush Reserves are part of. Check out their website for other excellent walks in the area and to find out about their conservation and enhancement efforts -
https://tawabush.org.nz/tawa-bush-reserves-and-walks/#RedwoodBushA nice little walk in some lovely native bush. At the bottom of the hill the path is wide and easy, up the hill it's a bit narrower with more twists and turns. There are a few trails crossing the bush - from Peterhouse Street to Brasenose Park (which has a playground).
Tui and pīwakawaka were easily spotted about the walk. Firm under foot. Excellent for a quick spot of bush bathing :-)
